About GhostLine

We design tattoo stencils for artists who need files that actually work on transfer paper.

The Studio

Built for artists who care about the line.

GhostLine Studio started with a specific frustration: most stencil packs available online look fine as a JPEG and fall apart on transfer paper. Lines that were drawn at screen resolution print thin, break up, or bleed into each other. What looked like a clean flash sheet becomes a guessing game when you're setting it up on skin.

Every piece here is designed specifically for stencil workflows. That means line weights chosen for thermal transfer paper, proportions that hold at standard tattoo stencil sizes, and clean vector construction so nothing degrades between the file and the print.

We release in focused themed collections rather than bulk drops. Animals, Botanicals, Geometric, Mystical, Japanese, Skulls — six bodies of work, each with a consistent internal logic. No filler to pad the pack.

The shop runs through Gumroad. Files are delivered immediately after purchase as both a PDF and a high-resolution image. No waiting on an email, no account required, no complicated download flow.

Why Linework Matters

The stencil is the foundation. If the line is wrong, everything after it is wrong.

A stencil is not decorative. It's the thing you machine off after setup. What matters is that it transfers completely, reads clearly against skin prep, and gives you lines you can follow at speed.

Designs built for Instagram or print merchandise don't have those priorities. They're optimized for a screen or a page, not for a stencil transfer workflow. The line weights, the closed paths, the size relationships — these need to be decided with the needle in mind.

That's what distinguishes a GhostLine design. Not the subject matter. Not the style. The decisions made at the drawing stage, before the file was ever packaged for sale.
